Purpose The purpose of this study was to construct a structural model that explains the factors affecting aggression among elementary school students and to verify their suitability.
Methods The study period was from June to August 2018. The study subjects were fifth- and sixth- graders at an elementary school. In total, 291 surveys were collected, of which 259 were analyzed. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 24.0 and AMOS version 24.0.
Results The fit of the final model was acceptable (x2=160.08 [p<.001], GFI=.921, AGFI=.869, CFI=.919, SRMR=.057, and RMSEA=.086). Thus, eight of the 10 hypotheses were shown to be statistically significant.
Conclusion The results of this study indicate that positive and open parenting behaviors and training children to engage in self-control are needed to reduce their aggression. In addition, considerable attention and education are required in the home, school, and society so that children can learn to properly recognize and express their emotions and establish suitable beliefs regarding aggressive behavior.
Purpose This study was conducted to develop a scale for measuring aggression in adolescents, based on Ajzen's Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB).
Methods The participants were 38 adolescents in an in-depth study conducted to develop items for indirect measurement, 13 adolescents in a pre-test, and 289 adolescents in the present survey. The collected data were analyzed using content validity, the correlation coefficient, exploratory factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability, and the Cronbach's ⍺.
Results In this study, the most important variable related to aggression was found to be aggression intention. This study included 4 factors of direct measurement and 6 factors of indirect measurement; therefore, 41 questions were developed. Increased levels of aggression were associated with higher scores for attitudes of aggression, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and aggression intention.
Conclusion We found that the questionnaire used in this study was valid and reliable as a measurement scale to explain aggression in adolescents based on TPB. Aggression intention should be included in aggression prevention programs because it was linked to aggressive behavior.

PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to compare self-esteem, perceived life satisfaction, depression and aggression according to the experience of suicidal impulse in adolescents. METHODS Data were collected from 249 middle and high school students in J city. The constructed questionnaires included items on self-esteem, perceived life satisfaction, depression and aggression. RESULTS Self-esteem, perceive life satisfaction, depression, and aggression differed significantly between the suicidal impulse group and non-suicidal impulse group.
The suicidal impulse group experienced lower self-esteem (OR=3.27), higher depression (OR=12.38) and higher aggression (OR=5.72) than the non-suicidal impulse group. CONCLUSION The findings indicate that integrated and effective interventions are needed to prevent suicidal attempts by adolescents who had experiences of suicidal impulse. Information on the cognitive, psychological and social characteristics of adolescents must be considered when developing the interventions.

PURPOSE The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors affecting Deviant Behaviors of Korean High school Students. METHOD Data was collected from October 8 to 31, 2002. The subjects for this study were 697 Korean High school Students(boys 347, girls 350), recruited from two High School located in Seoul. Data collection was conducted through the use of 6 Questionnaire that modified by the investigator. The data was analyzed by the SPSS win 10.0 program using Descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. RESULT 1) The mean of total item score the Deviant Behaviors scales was 1.59, which was slightly low. 2) There was a significant correlation between Deviant Behaviors, Type A Personality, Aggression, Impulsivity, Stress and Social Support(gamma= .11 ~ .65, p < .001), but It was no significant correlation Type A Personality and Stress(gamma= -.01). 3) Stepwise multiple regression analysis showed that (1) Impulsivity, Social Support and Type A Personality were the predictors of Deviant Behaviors and account for 18.6% of the variance in Deviant Behaviors. (2) Impulsivity account for 3.6% of the variance in Deviant Behaviors in Subjects with a lower degree of score the Deviant Behaviors.
Impulsivity and Social Support account for 23.2% of the variance in Deviant Behaviors in subjects with higher degree of score the Deviant Behaviors. (3) Impulsivity account for 18.3% of the variance in Deviant Behaviors in High school girls (n=350). Impulsivity and Social Support account for 20.1% of the variance in Deviant Behaviors in High school boys (n=347). CONCLUSION Impulsivity and Social Support account for Deviant Behaviors of High school Students. Therefore it is necessary to develop nursing intervention to reduce the level of Impulsivity, to increase the Social Support in order to decrease the Deviant Behaviors.
PURPOSE This study was conducted to investigate the effects of a psychomotorik program on the self concept, sociability and aggression in preschoolers. METHOD The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. There were 34 subjects in the experimental group and 34 in control group among 68 preschoolers in a nursery in the city of G. The experimental group received an 12 weeks psychomotorik. The out come variables were measured before and after the program.
Collected data were analyzed by Fisher's exact test, t-test, chi-square-test, repeated measures ANOVA & ANCOVA using the SPSS 15.0 program. RESULT After psychomotorik program, self concept, sociability were increased and aggression decreased in the experimental group. CONCLUSION Psychomotorik program was effective in increasing self concept and sociability and decreasing aggression. The program should be effective in psychological development of preshoolers.
